description “Everyone’s a kid at Old Orchard Beach, a family favorite of New Englanders, generation after generation.” - Yankee Magazine The Old Orchard Beach Campground is a 101 acre facility offering several diverse camping areas and options from simple wooded tent sites to large full service sites designed to accommodate today's largest motor homes. The Old Orchard Beach Campground is conveniently located one mile from the beach and one mile from the highway in between Portsmouth NH and Portland Maine. We offer countless things to do and places to go. Many of our guests are like family, returning year after year. Others who have traveled extensively, recognize Old Orchard Beach Campground might be one of the best kept camping secrets in Maine.
drivingDirection From the Maine Turnpike (I-95) going north or south, take Saco Old Orchard Beach Exit (Exit 36). This will place you on I-195 headed for “the beach”. Go 2.1 miles from the toll booth. On your right you will see Route 5 joining Route I-195. Immediately after is Old Orchard Beach Campground on your right. We are easy to miss due to merging traffic; watch carefully or you will pass us by. If you get to a 3-way intersection turn around as you went a bit too far.
